Free Scrapbook Page Planner
When it comes to scrapbooking, I am pretty much a failure. I think of ideas in my mind or I see layouts I like in scrapbook magazines or Pinterest but, when I sit down to actually do it, my mind becomes a total blank. I either forget the idea I had, I can’t incorporate my pictures into the layout I liked, I don’t have the right paper, my pictures are the wrong size, or I don’t have the embellishments. Lots of issues, I know.
I am going to a scrapbook weekend in a few weeks. I have been going for about 5 years. Most of the attendees get 50 pages or more completed. A few of them actually get over 100. Me, I’m lucky if I get 10 and those usually aren’t completely finished. (You can stop laughing now.) I am sure you are wondering why I go. Despite all of my creative issues, the weekends are a ton of fun. We socialize, eat, sleep, and scrap for 3 days.
I tend to take almost all of my scrapbooking supplies (and it is a lot) because I don’t want to leave something at home that I may need.
This year, I am going to try something new. I am going to only take the pictures I want to use and plan what the pages are going to look like before I go. Egads! Ok, let’s be honest, I’m going to “try” to do that. I don’t know if I will be able to pull it off. I’m sure right before it is time to pack the car I will throw in other “just in case” things until the car is packed to the top.
I found some page planners while searching the internet to help with my planning. None of them met my needs exactly. I liked bits and pieces of each one. So, I created my own and attached it below. Please feel free to download it. It is two-sided because I wanted a huge area to draw my design.
I will let you know if it works. Wish me luck.
The scrapbook image at the top is a picture of the first year scrapbook album I made for my daughter. The album was made by K&Company and discontinued a long time ago. You can get similar designs at any scrapbook store. I did a quick search of Amazon and included some affiliate links to other K&Company albums below.
